Unfortunately it appears that it appears that the Ancient Scroll currently does not serve any function for use in Dark and Darker Gold. It's more beneficial when players are able to fill the 4 slots by acquiring random items of jewelry or tableware. A quick note for new players: random weapons (unless that it is of very rare nature) is not worth keeping because of its price at the very minimum, over single-slot worth of jewelry and other.

Today, there are more rarities for Ancient Scrolls, as some players have claimed to have seen blue, green as well as purple versions. However, they are also nearly worthlessand it's still unclear what they're worth more than the standard "flawed" edition does.

As an item to be used in an event in the future they have in mind to exchange to the currency of the event. It can be employed in a crafting mechanism.
