Today, many people buy the latest FIFA, NBA, or Madden each calendar year. And publishers keep selling their games even if some huge sports titles fail to live up to expectations. As we approach the half-way point of the year still to go, there are still plenty of sports titles set to be released, including some fan-favorites as well as some newcomers who are a bit different.

Madden NFL 23
In just over one month, on August 19. Madden NFL 23 is the next installment of the popular football franchise. With Madden being among the regular series that is mentioned above, it's unlikely that the formula will need to change , but EA is insistent that the game this year is an upgrade over the previous one, featuring the addition of a new physics technology. The system is called "FieldSENSE," this new system tweaks Madden NFL's defensive AI, gives a more precise method of passing and tackles that are so precise that the game will discern which body part was hurt when tackling. While Madden NFL 23 is dropping on older consoles as well, FieldSENSE will only be accessible for consoles with current generation.
FIFA 23
While it's not been publicly confirmed as of yet, FIFA 23 is a known at this time. With EA recently announcing that it was planning to take an exit from the FIFA licensing in the near future changing its name to EA Sports FC, it seems possible the game FIFA 23 will be the last game to be released in this 30 year franchise. No gameplay details are out yet, however the idea of a World Cup mode has been published. If it follows the same format as the rest of games in the franchise, FIFA 23 will probably be released towards the end of the year. It's likely to be by the end September or in early November.
UFL
A newcomer joins the field created through Strikerz Inc., UFL is a forthcoming soccer game which operates in the same style similar to FIFA. Following the debacle of eFootball in the year before, UFL has repeatedly assured players that UFL has no pay-to-win mechanics and also that it is a game that puts skill first. There's not a specific launch date set for UFL, but it is scheduled for release in 2022.
Blood Bowl 3
The final sports game officially slated for a 2022 release, Blood Bowl 3 takes the Warhammer board game with the same name, and transforms it into a exciting, fun turning-based game. The game is a sequel Blood Bowl 2. it is a sequel to Blood Bowl 2.
