Preparing for Hell Mode in Diablo 2 Resurrected: What Should You Do?

Diablo 2 is a challenging game, especially if you intend to complete it from beginning to end. Things like immunities are particularly difficult to overcome, and the progression from nightmare to hell is significant. So we're going to go ahead and go over some of the things you should be looking for in terms of gear, as well as the mindset you should have when you're going through this game with you. Over leveling your character is never a bad idea, especially if you have a character who is reliant on an actual hit with attack rating, as in the case of the protagonist. Whenever you need to hit something with attack rating, there is a formula that takes your attack rating and divides it by the monster's defense. However, this only accounts for half of the formula; the other half is determined by your level and that of the monster. Consequently, even if you have a high attack rating, if your level is 20 levels lower than the monster's level, hitting that monster will be significantly more difficult. The more you can overlevel as you progress through the game, the easier it will be to hit your opponents, which will be extremely beneficial. Additionally, things like ignore target defense on weapons can be extremely effective because they remove the first half of the formula entirely, leaving you with only your level versus their level to contend with, making it much easier to hit your opponents.

When it comes to leveling up in Nightmare, there are a couple of different options:

If your character is a little weaker, you can level up by doing things like Eldritch Runs, which is a similar concept.

Way number two is to complete World Stone Keep and Bail Runs.

Many people will level up to 50, 60, and 70 and then stop around 70, 72, 74 or whatever and then move on to Hell. You can definitely move on a little earlier, but if you're moving into hell when you're level 55 or 60, you're probably going to be a little underleveled and it's probably going to be a little difficult to get through. For the most part, we believe D2 runes should be in your mid-60s, especially if you're a newcomer to the game.

2. Double-check that you can hit.

That's for things that require an attack rating; the types of skills that do this include things like multi-shot requires a hit, guided arrow requires a hit, strafe, and other similar abilities. Physical hits are generally the ones that require an attack rating; do not charge strike. Charge strike and lightning fury have no effect on the attack rating because they have no effect on the attack rating. This is also true for all of your spells, so whether you're using a bone spear, hammers from the hammerton, frozen ore, blizzard meteor, fireball, or any other spell, you won't have to worry about your attack rating or anything like that because they'll always hit.

3. Equipment Suggestions for Getting Through Hell Mode

Let's talk about the equipment, which is unquestionably one of the most important aspects of surviving the hard mode.

1) You must ensure that your resistances are strong in Hell, because you have a minus 40 resistance penalty in Hell (you have no penalty in normal, but a minus 40 penalty in nightmare), so  must prepare accordingly.

2) The most important thing to concentrate on is your vitality and life; if you can increase these, it will be extremely beneficial to you.

Three things you should concentrate on are faster cast rate, faster hit recovery, faster run walk, and all of those other kinds of fasters. You should either hit your break points or have enough run walk or whatever else to allow your character to move faster, get away from monsters more easily, and space yourself out in an appropriate manner. Your attack speed and cast rate are extremely important because there is the concept of he who puts the other in hit recovery first wins, which is a little bit how it works in the world of Warcraft. Basically what this means is that if you are next to 20 mobs and walk right into the middle of them, and they all start swinging at you, if you hit them all first, whether with a Nova or something else, it is all of them that go into hit recovery and don't attack your character; if they all attack you first, you go into hit recovery and don't attack their character. Because you'll be able to hit them first rather than them hitting you first, the faster you can get your spells or attacks off, the better off you'll be in Diablo 2 Resurrection. This is a huge advantage in the game.

D2 buy items is the best place to farm equipment for Hell Mode.

Things to look out for and gear are going to be Nightmare Mephisto and Nightmare chaos runs, and Nightmare Dario also has some good drops. This includes a lot of the gears such as Rockstopper, Waterwalks, Bloodfist, Jalal's Mane, Magefist, Trang-Oul's Clows and the runes for spirit, among other things. Nightmare Mephisto is one of the best places to farm in the game, and it comes extremely highly recommended.
