Chaeldar needs 70 or more combat (i cant remember) in addition to OSRS Gold access Zanaris. Black Mask can be readily obtained through GE for just a few hundred dollars. It's required to create the Full Slayer Helm in the first place, so don't view it as is a waste of money. You can buy the uncharged models. I do not pray while slayering since I'm not a good slayer however, others may know more.

Because of f2p, you can't use the range of elvarg or the dragon. F2P's only single-handed rng is the weakest crossbow that you can find. I'd suggest 40 or more atk 40 or more str, and 33 def or greater prior to throwing it.

If you do, you could be killed since you aren't able to use an anti-drag sheild (unless u use bronze bolts with a reg crossbow) and i wouldn't recommend. Maging it is a nightmare because i've read it has an impressive magical that is definitely. For the levels of melee, u wud need an adamant armoury with a rune scimmy (40atk needed) and full adamant armour (30 def required), an amulet of str, and str potion could help.. U also need the anti drag sheild because without it, Elvarg can hit upto 500 dmg.

Also, be sure to get an inventory of lobsters and swordfish. Swordfish is far superior in my opinion, but I killed elvarg at around 40-50 combat, using just 3-5 lobsters. This is only to prepare for the final boss fight against the dragon named elvarg. A final thing, the 33 magic spell can save you 10k gp (for taking telegrabbers of map pieces instead of purchasing that piece from the goblin).

Also , keep in mind that u need 33 quest points to begin this quest.
