While 2K Games have changed the shooting meter of MT 2K22 they haven't tweaked the ways that players will be able to shoot in the game. There are currently two methods for shooting the ball. One is via an Pro Stick (right joystick) or via a singular button.

If you're playing on PlayStation you'll use the Square button to shoot, while Xbox gamers will be using the X button, and both consoles will also be able to utilize The Right Joystick, or better known as"the Pro Stick.

One of the main differences between the two shooting methods is how precise each is. For instance, the Pro Stick is going to give more room for error when compared to Button shooting. It's capable of allowing players to be more precise in reaching those perfect perfections.

If you're new to the game and want to try Button shooting in the beginning, as it'll offer you the best chance of success than Pro Stick shooting, but experienced players in this 2K series should opt for Pro Stick shooting.

Pro Stick method instead. The brand new shot meter in Cheap MT 2K22 PS4 has been added to determine the quality of your shots during games. In other words, you won't need an enormous meter to achieve an ideal shot if you are surrounded by two players beyond the three-point line rather than a wide mid-range shot.
