This is one of the most buggier entries of the Madden series in recent years, and that is an impressive statement considering the game had no head-mounted players running around and massive glitches that saw huge lines appear on the screen like players were playing with an old plasma. The most frustrating thing about the continuous flow of glitches is the problem it causes in the game's gameplay. If the framerate decreases at a certain time, players will not catch their catch or even a kick.
The most notable improvement between NFL 22 & NFL 20 is, without doubt, the improved graphics. When the camera zooms out, it's nearly as playing the real thing. The character models of characters are so detailed that they almost seem cutting-edge, even though the characters on the side look similar to NPCs from PS2 as well as the fans in the bleachers appear more like cardboard cutouts.
This is an EA game. EA games are designed to function exactly as you would expect. A microtransaction in a game doesn't come as a surprise however it does not make it any less insulting when they are at the forefront of the game, covering every menu. Without forking over a ton of money (after having already shelled out more than $70 for the game that's full of bugs,) playing the game becomes a slow buy Mut 22 coins, tedious grinding.
