Welcome back, fellow adventurers! In today's guide, we'll delve into the often-overlooked Quality of Life (QoL) features that came with Patch 6.5 in Final Fantasy XIV. As always, there are numerous updates to explore, but We are sifted through them to bring you the most impactful ones. From Island Sanctuaries to PvP enhancements, and even some su rprising item management improvements, we've got it all covered. So, let's not waste any more time and dive right in!

Island Sanctuary QoL Updates:

Rotatable Landmarks: Finally, you can rotate your Island Sanctuary landmarks in 90/180-degree increments. Access the log board, select "rotate landmark," and adjust its orientation to your liking. This is perfect for those who've had a landmark they adore but felt it faced an awkward direction.

Copy Workshop Agendas: Now, you can conveniently copy your entire agenda for the day in the Aisle Works interface. No need to recreate it from scratch every time.

New Hairstyles for Viera and Hrothgar:
While not entirely new, Viera and Hrothgar can now sport some fresh hairstyles. One notable addition is "Form and Function," a fantastic short hair option for Hrothgar characters.

Wondrous Tails Update:
In a long-awaited change, if players haven't unlocked certain duties, the available objectives for Wondrous Tails will adapt accordingly. Say goodbye to the frustration of having inaccessible duties on your list.

PvP Enhancements:

Patch 6.5 brings significant improvements to PvP gameplay:

Tactical Crystal Indicator: A circle now appears on the field, indicating the point the losing team must reach to take the lead, offering a clear goal for victory.

Gauge Enhancements: The leading team's gauge background will flash, a line indicating the point the losing team must reach is added, and during overtime, the remaining time for the losing team to keep the Tactical Crystals is displayed.

Affiliated Team Progress: You can adjust settings to display your affiliated team's progress on the left side of the gauge, streamlining the user interface to fit your preferences.

Item Management Updates:
Armoire for Online Store Items: Now, items purchased from the online store can be stored in your armoire. Categories like costumes, fashions, and mascots will be shown when storing them.

Glamour from Armoire: Stored items can now be directly glamoured from the armoire interface, eliminating the need to take them out first.

Marking Newly Caught Fish: For Fishers, newly caught fish are now marked in the fish guide, simplifying the identification of new catches.

Gathering Updates:
A nose location effect is now displayed when Gathering Collectibles.

You can aetherially reduce the same type of item one after another automatically, streamlining the process.

System and Interface Updates:
Items with conditions for acquisition are now marked at shops, making it clear if you meet the requirements.

Class and job icons are displayed in the pull-down menu when searching for items, making it easier to find gear for specific jobs.

Teleport destination tabs can now be sorted by region or expansion, giving you more control over how you organize your travel options.

You can now toggle the display of job or class icons in public areas and instances separately. Icons can be set to display on yourself, your party, alliance members, or other players individually.

During periods of inactivity lasting five seconds or longer, the cursor will be hidden during cutscenes, group poses, idling camera, ending credits, and when the UI is disabled or displaying title screen movies.

Estimated travel time will now be displayed when traveling between data centers, helping you plan your inter-data center adventures better.
