According to Lieutenant General Abdul Ghani al-Assadi, commander of the Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service (CTS), the CTS recorded as many as 72 ISIS drone flights early in the battle for Mosul, which decreased to 52 times. However, with the widespread use of vehicle-mounted jammers, the number of drone flights declined rapidly and finally almost completely disappeared. Although ISIS had tried to delay the offensive of Iraqi forces through drones, the deployment of DroneDefender greatly reduced the threat of drones, allowing the Iraqi army to successfully capture the target area.
